2. Scope of the Service

Vaho is a minimalist web application providing guided breathing exercises and a training-set timer. It is intended for general well-being and is not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

3. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

4. Account

Creating an account is optional and lets you save settings, custom presets and session history. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address above.

5. Health disclaimer

Breathing techniques and binaural sounds may affect how you feel. Do not use the Service while driving, operating machinery or in any situation where reduced alertness could be dangerous. Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant, have a heart, lung or neurological condition, epilepsy, or any other medical concern.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, sounds and trademarks in the Service are owned by the service provider or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal purposes.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The provider is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory provisions of EU or Polish law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts competent for the seat of the service provider, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.

Privacy & Cookie Policy

1. Data controller

2. What we process

  • Account data: e-mail, optional display name (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Usage data: breathing/training sessions, custom presets and settings linked to your account (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Technical data needed to deliver the site (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in secure operation).
  • Optional analytics/marketing data — only if you give consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

3. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO).

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage in the following categories:

  • Necessary — required for the site to function (e.g. authentication session, language preference, your cookie choice). Always active; no consent required.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used (aggregated, pseudonymous). Only set if you opt in.
  • Marketing — used to measure campaigns or show personalised content. Only set if you opt in.

On your first visit a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose categories. You can change your choice anytime by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of the consent banner or by clearing site data in your browser.

5. Recipients and transfers

We use sub-processors for hosting and database services (operating within the EU or under appropriate safeguards). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

Account and session data is kept while your account exists and for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations. Consent records are kept for evidence purposes for up to 24 months.
